increase = increasement。汉语意思：增长。后者的用法和前者一样，但很少见诸英美报刊。
increasing 是“动名词”，在表示动作含义的短语中使用。
用法不一样：
increase: 可加定冠词/不定冠词， 如 he gave me an increase in salary
increasement: 后面常常+ of，如Withincreasementof thespineinjury...
increasing, 几乎不用为名词，多做形容词和动词，非要研究其名词性我认为没有意义。
